Rebecca Shultz, MS, CCC-SLP
Rebecca is a speech language pathologist. Born in the suburbs of Chicago, she now lives in South Bend and is dedicated to providing speech pathology services to the community she now calls home. Rebecca graduated from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois in 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Psychology. She then obtained her Master’s of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology at Saint Mary's College in 2018. She has clinical experience in hospital based outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, and acute care rehabilitation settings. Rebecca's specific interests and specialty areas include voice disorders, upper aerodigestive tract disorders, and swallowing disorders. Rebecca is an LSVT LOUD Certified Clinician, MBSImP Register Clinician, and Vital Stim Certified Clinician. She currently heads a local head and neck cancer support group in the community. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence with the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in the state of Indiana.
Annalisa Layman, MA, CCC-SLP
Annalisa is a speech-language pathologist. Born and raised in Mishawaka, she is eager and enthusiastic to give back to her community through speech language pathology services. Annalisa graduated from Ball State University in 2015 and 2017 respectively, obtaining her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Master’s of Arts degree in Speech Language Pathology. She has clinical experience in outpatient rehabilitation working with adolescents and adults with a variety of neurological disorders including stroke, traumatic brain injury, concussion, Parkinson’s, and ALS. Annalisa’s specialty areas include concussion and brain injury management. She has presented her research focused on concussion management at state and national academic conferences, and continues to conduct relevant research within this area. Annalisa previously served as the lead of an interdisciplinary concussion team in an outpatient clinic, as well as headed a local brain injury support group. Annalisa holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence with the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in the state of Indiana.
